Arthur is trying too hard.
And the stuff he's saying about why the Germans are in the war isn't fantastical, it's part of the actual propaganda intended to make them feel the good guys in this.

Here's a sample if anyone is interested: http://research.calvin.edu/german-propaganda-archive/wehr02.htm

Next update will be on June 16! But you can see it right now if you become my patron!

He is either a liar, a fool or brainwashed. Then again, he could be all three.

It's very easy to be waylaid when you're brought up in a regime. Hence the reason why I linked to that propaganda about why the nazis were fighting the war. If you read it, it's impressive how virtuous it makes it sound, knowing what they were actually doing.

That's very smart of you though this guy really should have gotten a wake up call the instant they saw them killing and torturing children. Once you cross that line, nothing you say or do can convince me that you're virtuous.

It's so frightening, how easy it is to convince a hurting people that they're right in the heinous work that they're doing. It's happening right now, even, and it's scary.

Greta tense expressions here, as usual. :)

Part of why WM exists is to demonstrate exactly that. I'm glad it's getting across, thank you!
