I don't have much to say here. I'd really like to hear how you feel about what just happened… and what you think of Diomedes so far would be interesting to hear too!

Special thanks to Pit-Face for posing for this!!

I can sum it up with two words: "Intense!" and "Wow." Beyond that, the dark, bloody background really highlights the emotion of the scene and shows what's going on without actually depicting all the details. I honestly didn't know he was going to kill them but with that level of grief and emotion, it makes sense. Then his reaction to what he's done is very sincere and believable. Good job all around! Very tragic.

Well, as I said, this was kind of inevitable with the way things were going. It has to be said that the poor sod didn't exactly make a good argument for his life. Not that that makes this any more constructive though; it's kind of an empty gesture at this point.

WHat do you mean an empty gesture? And yeah I agree he wasn't very good at arguing for his life.

An empty gesture inasmuch as it solves nothing. Ana is still dead, and while this may be considered as one less collaborator it really is just more blood needlessly spilled.

THat's very true. But maybe one could argue that with one less collaborator, more blood won't be spilled in the future (another reader said that).

Starting with the last panel on the previous page, I think this sequence was done incredibly well. I like how you used the dark background with the blood splatters. The emotions of Diomedes are conveyed really well as he goes through the feelings of betrayal at finding out Stelios was a collaborator, to the rage that boiled over in him causing him to bludgeon Stelios, to the emotional breakdown after killing him. You can really feel the hopelessness and helplessness that he is feeling.
